25 Mar Olive Oil activities for April
Posted at 10:34h in Blog/News
Hola, Extra Virgin Olive Oil Lovers!
This April, we have a whole lot of varied activities around olive oil – suitable for everybody, every schedule and every budget.
- On Sunday 7th April we will be running our monthly courses at the Spanish Olive Oil School in Clapham: beginners and advanced. Join us if you would like to learn how to assess extra virgin olive oil, factors affecting the quality, harvesting and extraction, varieties and regions where they are produced. Open your mind to new tasting experiences and knowledge which you can apply at home and also when you buy extra virgin olive oil from retailers or online. Have a look and book in this link.
- And if this was not enough, on Wednesday 24th April we will be collaborating with Mercato Metropolitano, where we will showcase EVOOs participating in the Slow Food movement in Spain. We will be offering you the chance to taste local endangered varieties which have been saved by dedicated growers, showing their care and passion for their land and farming traditions. We will round off the tasting with biodynamic and organic EVOOs by producers who maintain the balance between caring for the environment while also ensuring the well being of our bodies and minds. You can purchase your tickets via Eventbrite.
- All of these events and courses would make a very special gift, either as a treat or as a unique Mother’s Day experience!
See you soon!
